How often should I service my air conditioning?

Typically, when an AC system is used in a residential environment for cooling only, one service visit per annum is generally sufficient. However, where the system is used in both heating and cooling modes, we recommend at least two visits per year.

For commercial applications, e.g. shops, offices or restaurants, a minimum of two visits per year would be required. In critical locations, e.g. server rooms, trading floors, workshops, hairdressing or beauty salons where there are often high levels of airborne pollutants in the air, we would advise that your air conditioning maintenance program allows for three or more service visits.

We also offer great deals if you have multiple air conditioners that require servicing. Contact us for further information and a quotation on our air conditioning service and maintenance packages.

How do I know when my air conditioning needs services?

There can be some tell tale signs that your system is needing a service, poor cooling or heating, foul smells coming from the indoor unit, large dust build up’s on the filters.  It can be simple as your wall controller popping up with service/filter light telling you it’s due a service. Keeping a service log is always a good idea as most units fail when you need them most.
